The internet has affected people’s life in many ways. There is some bad ways, but there is also some good ways. The good way is that the internet provides services for everyone. If you need to research something there is a variety of worldwide websites for you to have the most accurate information. It also provides online jobs for people who prefer to work from home. It also provides education; the new thing is taking college courses through the internet instead of going to a college itself. The main thing is being able to communicate from anybody in the world. You can send pictures and even use the web cam. There are many bad things too when using the internet. For example some people abuse the privilege and hack the internet to do bad things. The internet has been a bad thing which people use to steal identities and commit crimes. Another way if has affected people in a bad way is by kids being kidnapped throughout chat rooms. Web 2.0 is a tem describing changing trends in the use of World Wide Web technology and web design that aims to enhance creativity, secure information sharing, collaboration and functionality of the web.

Internet has affected my life in many ways. I love the internet. Whenever I am bored, the internet will entertain me. I like how I can interact with my friends over the internet; through e-mail or something like MySpace. I also like how I get important information from the internet. I use the internet all of the time for school and it is very helpful. I know without my e-mail it would be hard to stay in touch with certain people and get important information. One more thing that it is helpful for is buying things online. A Web 2.0 page is a page that people can interact with, something like MySpace. Now I know I love MySpace and many of my friends do too. That is one way we stay in contact with people. Also on Web 2.0 pages, people can get their talent noticed by uploading videos or something like that so I believe that those types of websites and things like that are very helpful. Without the internet I really believe that this country would be lost. We all need it is some kind of way; whether it’s for fun or for something productive. The internet is one of the best things around in my opinion.

I think that the internet has affected my life majorly. The internet has made a huge impact on my life. It has made our lives so much easier because it gave us so many things. The internet gave us another way to keep in touch. It gave us email and MySpace and Face book. The internet gave us so much more to be happy about. The internet is the biggest thing right now and without it we would be lost in this world. The internet has given us another way to see things and do things. It has made buying things so much easier. It has made music life so much easier. WEB 2.0 is another way to talk about web design. It is another term for World Wide Web. I think that is cool. Basically it is an internet update. That is what I think it is. I mean it has the number 2.0 in it. That makes me think it is a better version of the internet. It is just and update for the internet. I would have to say that the internet rocks and no one and I mean totally rocks. The internet rules man.

I do believe that the internet has affected our life. I think that because people depend on the internet for many things. Those things are searching answers for homework, applying for a job, and talking to friends. I think it is unhealthy to depend on the internet for many needs. If you start to use the computer for most of your time then you really need help because by being on the internet you don’t realize your life pasting you by. Web 2.0 is an expression describing different trends in World Wide Web technology and web design that improve creativity, protected information sharing, cooperation and functionality of the web. I also think that Web 2.0 is affecting our world because it creates more ideas for us to use computers more. Digital pen-pals are a good way to have communication with your friends or family. It is dependable but you should not get on it every day. It is one of the things that are great about the internet. However, the internet could lead to many horrible things because the internet is a dangerous place. Most people don’t realize that the internet can harm them. I rather live without internet because once you get yourself into it then you probably become lazy and annoyed about life as it is.

In a way, my life was never really drastically changed by internet because it was already invented when I was born. The internet was invented in 1990 and I was born in 1993, three years after it was invented. However, I do believe that without the internet, I think that we would have a hard time. America thrives on the internet through e-mails, instant messaging, on-line shopping, MySpace, and downloads. Without internet, our lives would be so much more difficult because we can reach anything or anyone with just a few typing of keys. If we did not have internet, we would still have to send letters through the mail and call in to order things from a catalog. We would also have to spend money just to call someone from another country, whereas now, all we have to do is send them an e-mail, or a message of MySpace. More importantly, my school, SciTech, would certainly not be the same. Our school incorporates an enormous amount of internet use in our everyday lives at school. We are notified about happenings in our school over e-mail, instead of announcements. Instead of printing out reports, we just send them to our teachers using the internet most of the time. Also, other people look at our work through the internet instead of having to come in all of the time to see what we do. So, without the internet, I think we would be frustrated because everything would be a lot harder. A web 2.0 webpage shows how technology over the web, creativity, and how we socialize has changed over the years. I think that it would be kind of interesting speaking with someone from the other side of the world. We could learn a lot about our different cultures and countries. However, I think it would be kind of weird because I would not know that person so I would not know any personality traits of that person or if that person was lying about everything that I asked them.

The internet has changed my life drastically. I use it everyday to do a lot of things and also just to have fun. It is very useful in school and away from school. Also web 2.0 pages are fun and helpful. A web 2.0 page is a page you can download stuff from and have your own profile. Things like imeem and MySpace are web 2.0 pages. The internet has also made some people get lazy. Those are the 24/7 computer people or computer geeks. I think it has improved in a lot of ways in 18 years. Look how many people use it every hour of the day. It is also cool that you have programs that you can talk to people across the world. That is good because you can stay in touch with people and meet people across the world. Also you can use other programs like AIM and Yahoo Messenger to stay in touch with people you grown to know and love. The internet is just the best thing now days. Also the internet can help you find people and things. You can shop and do a whole bunch of stuff online. E-mail is also really good to thing that came with the internet.

Web 2.0 is a term describing changing trends in the use of World Wide Web technology and web design that aims to enhance creativity, secure information sharing, collaboration and functionality of the web. It has made a great connection from people around the world. You are allowed to edit it, upload stuffs, and do things as you wish in the Web 2.0. It is one of the greatest discoveries in the world. Especially people who love to be in the net all the time, it allows them to express their feelings, etc.
Since the Internet has been discovered by Sir Tim Berners-Lee on 1980s, we have been developing in technology rapidly, improve on our education, upload, download, or even educated form the World Wide Web. It is very fun to converse with some other people around the world, especially when it is almost in no time. Now, it is very useful and great for teens especially, it has made our life much more freedoms. Chatting is a great discovery for me; I can chat with my friend in no time in Asia, which probably took a very long time if you send it by mail. So, Internet has made a great difference in my life.

Internet has affected our lives in many different ways. Without the internet, you wouldn’t be able to get into your email. Email is one of the best ways to communicate with people. Email is also a great way to get information. Without the internet, you wouldn’t be able to search things on Google. You would have to search through books or even go to the library. That would be terrible. Google makes it easier to find things. It is like the best invention ever made. Without the internet, you wouldn’t be able to play online. Life without XBOX Live would be miserable. Not everyone has someone to play with. With XBOX Live, you can play with people across the world.

Web 2.0 has affected our world a lot. Without Web 2.0, websites like YouTube, MySpace, Face Book, and Limewire wouldn’t exist. With YouTube, you can watch videos that people uploaded. Somebody in Los Angeles can upload a video of a fight and I can watch it here in Harrisburg. With MySpace, you can create a page that has your own pictures and videos and you can talk to your friends. You can do the same thing with Face Book. With Limewire, you can download music that people have uploaded. There are millions of songs on Limewire. As you can see, Web 2.0 is a big part of our lives.

Internet is a very important part of my life. Do I not go to a high school that revolves around the internet as a mode of communication? What would happen to SciTech High if the internet was gone? Who knows? Also I like to read a lot of things and they come from Japan. And If I were to wait until they were to come to the US, it would wait like 6 months or longer. But I just go to the internet and read the Japanese versions. Also I am a former child of a Military personal. My Mom dukes. I have live all over the place and meet all kinds of people. They people I know aren’t people who I can just walk to or drive to. I would have to catch a plane or a boat. That is just too much thing to do to see just one person. Thank god for MySpace. If there was no MySpace then I would never speak to those people again. That’s just how it is. But we do have MySpace so it’s all good. So has the internet affected my life? Of course. You are weird if it has not.

The internet has affected our lives greatly in many ways. With its creation it has created ease in doing many tasks and advancing our technology. Through the internet we can connect with people around the world or relatives separated by far distances. It has also contributed to furthering people’s patience level, as it has advanced to a level where it operates faster than before and it only takes a click to get gratification. Web 2.0 pages are many sites that we use on a regular basis. As interactivity has become a key component of what would call a good site. With the development of these pages it has taken the internet to an even higher plane. Sites such as YouTube have allowed people from around the world to showcase their work and creativity. Social networking has proved to be a big trend and has allowed friends to keep in touch easily. Though there are many benefits to these technologies, there are also negatives. In these frequently used social networks children have become prey to child predators; identity theft has been committed over sites and many more crimes. Because of the development of the internet digital pen-pals have become a reality and letters to places around the world only take a matter of seconds.

The Internet has affected my life immensely. Without the Internet, I wouldn’t be able to communicate with people via e-mail; I wouldn’t be able to talk to someone across the world/country instantly. I wouldn’t be able to obtain information without going to the library. People wouldn’t be able shop online.
Since the Internet every aspect of people’s lives, we have become very dependent on the computer. Nowadays if you want any information, you automatically go on the Internet. There are some pros and cons to having access to the Internet.
For example, if I didn’t have internet, I don’t think I would procrastinate as much as I do. Usually, when I go home, the first thing I do is go on computer and check my e-mail instead of doing homework. I never knew what web 2.0 was until now. It has affected our lives because having web 2.0 enables us to converse with others who live all over the world.
Getting rid of the Internet is like getting rid of all technology, including game systems. Because some games are created/conceived through the Internet.

Today the most recent thing in internet is web 2.0. Web 2.0 is a certain type of website that a lot of popular websites use. This is when a internet website allow there users to login to their site or became a member. What they do when they login is; they have a profile and can communicate with others, visit other profiles, upload pictures and download files on the site. Basically being able to edit the webpage/ there own web page.
Web 2.0 made a big impact in life today simply for it being a big new step in the internet which is apart a lot of peoples everyday lives. It makes a lot of things on the internet easier and more exciting. More like entertainment for some people being able to interact and change stuff on a webpage. Since internet is apart of everyday life and a lot of people use it to communicate so having that on the web pages today is important for having more ways to communicate and in a lot of ways easier to communicate.

Internet has affected my life in multiple ways. It has affected it not only in positive ways, but in negative ways also. Some positive ways are the access that I have. Some information I need for school projects I can get off the computer. Also I can talk to my friends and family over the computer. Another positive about having access to the internet is the way I can check up in things. I can check my grades for school, email teachers if I have questions, and if I need to look up any transportation information I can do it easily. Some negatives about the internet are the openness and how public it is. Anyone can access anything on the internet. On top of that, the moment you put something on the internet, there isn’t a way you can get it back. A web 2.0 webpage is a website that has easier access. This has really affected the world around us. We in a way are transformed around it. The internet does become reliable but it also causes conflict. Internet access attracts online predators and perverts. Truthfully I see no problem with having an online pen pal. If you make sure you keep it safe and realize that the littlest thing can be a lot of information about you. If someone told me that they want to be my pen pal I will be okay. I see it as making a new friend. Take MySpace for instance. When someone requests to be my friend I will view their profile to see who they are and who they talk to. If I see they know people I know then I will accept their request. Then I will send them an email and ask who they are. If they start questions that I feel are too personal then I will stop emailing them and delete them as a friend. You should be allowed in the internet and access things that are appropriate as long as you’re responsible and safe.

The internet has affected many people’s life. It has affected people in good and bad ways such as; having people shop online and a good thing would be sending emails on good, educational, or learning experiences. I think that the internet has affected people’s life by being a source of saying that it is much faster doing something and getting information instead of reading a book or going to a mall to get the information or items that you need. I think that the internet is taking over people’s life that they are becoming very addicted. I also think that it is a good source on talking with friends and family but you can get a little overwhelmed. Web 2.0 has affected our lives in the world to be able to do things we don’t feel like doing and to not have to move an inch to do what we would like to do. I feel that we shouldn’t be able to converse from some one on the other side of the world because we don’t know the person and they might try to come and see you and hurt you. It is also an advantage just to have someone to talk to and learn about where they come from and what they are like but it is not always safe to do that.

Period Two;

The internet has affected my life in so many ways, both mentally and physically. I get on the internet daily for all of my needs. For example, I get on the internet every morning to check the weather and my horoscope. Those two are very high components that make up my day. I also use the internet daily to stay in contact with others. I use e-mail over the internet to keep in touch with all of my friends back in New York and many other states. I also get on the internet to check for new items and updates on places and items of interest to me. Without the internet, my life will be so different. Not only because I wouldn’t know as much as I do now, but I will be so old fashioned. It has impacted my life so much, positively and negatively. In many ways, the internet has been there for me, any time access and always comes through for me during my procrastinating days; but the internet also affects me negatively. It is such a distraction when its there and you can’t get what you need to done. The internet is basically the world at your fingertips at anytime. You can access it on your phone, pc, desktop, basically anywhere and anything. The internet is a major need in my life.

The internet affected our lives because there is so much stuff that people do on the internet now. But the internet is pretty good but people are just like computer freaks. They just want to live there lives on the internet by playing games, doing emails, and making websites that are not operate. People shop on the internet and hacking other people computers and more. People are getting killed on the internet and getting hurt by talking to people all around the world. People are bullies and more on the internet. The internet really haven’t affected my life because I’m not an internet freak because it’s not safe or anything. I do get on X Box 360 live sometimes. But other then that it is not my life because I don’t shop on it or anything else. The only time I am on the internet is when I am her at school. People detour and destroy other people computers and can hunt you down if you put your info on the internet by an accident. But if there was no internet we would not have as much things created in this world as there is now because of the internet. So that is what I think about the internet.

Brianna Clark Period 1:
If the Internet was never invented I think that it would be boring and life wouldn’t be the same. Because sometimes when we can’t get in touch with people through phone or letter we use the Internet as an escape. But also the Internet is a bad thing a very bad thing. There are stalkers online there are also perverts and old men. Especially when girls or even young children or teens have e-mail addresses and go into chat rooms. It’s not always a good thing but then again there are just some sick people out there. I think that the Internet has affected me in so many ways first I can talk to my friends without calling them I mean other than that I really don’t use the Internet to much at home I may get on the computer maybe three times a week. I don’t know I just don’t think that getting online is fun or even amusing anymore. But when I’m at school it helps so much because everything we do has to do with the Internet. And without the Internet it would almost be like living in the Stone Age but then again it wouldn’t really make a difference because we would of never knew what it was. Now if they were to take the Internet away from us I would be bored but then I would have more work to do but it may just be good because people would have to something else than just sitting in the house in front of the computer. So yes with or without the Internet the world would be very, very different.

The way that the internet has affected our lives is that we use the internet everyday. Every time we want to do something or look up something we go to the internet to find whatever it is that we need. Instead of always calling someone you can email them because you know that they will get that email if they are not able to get to their phone right away. Without the internet the way that the world would be different is that the technology that we have would not be as good as it is now. All the cell phones, musical devices, and etc would not be as good as they are now and who knows they may not have been created because when using those things it requires the internet, most of the time. Without the Web 2.0 I believe that the web would not look like it is today. It would look different because there would not be different designs on the web pages to make them look different from one another. The internet as also change they way we do things and the way we communicate with one another. I do not think that talking to someone you do not know is a good thing. But, if you did meet them and you know who they really are and they have moved from you then it is ok.

The internet is a positive thing. It has had a great impact on my life. I could live without it, but I’m glad that I don’t have to. I think that everyone feels the same way about the internet. Some people get on it everyday and stay on for hours; I don’t, but I get on the internet from time to time. I have at least three email addresses that I have. Email sometimes has too much spam, but my addresses do a good job of clearing it up. Sadly, though, most people don’t use email anymore. They create accounts on shared websites where you can upload pictures and constantly talk to people like a text message. Anyway, I also do online shopping. Every time I get a gift card to a store, instead of going to the store I have items shipped to my house. The online databases of stores have more for sale than the store itself. That is a big thing for stores. They probably get more business online. Instant messaging is texting online. I don’t do that, so I have nothing to say about it. I play games online, but I don’t do it with other players. I haven’t tried it yet, but I may. Computers are important; they have helped a lot.

I believe that the internet has had a huge impact on our lives. I use the internet almost every day for email and school work. Most of the teenagers today cannot go through a single day without checking their MySpace or FaceBook pages. Something that didn't exist 20 years ago has now become a huge part of our daily lives. A lot of people have email pen pals, or buy things online, or participate in online dating, and dozens of other activities. I find it amazing that we can talk with people on the other side of the world. It is unbelievable that thirty years ago, no one would ever believe that something like the internet was possible. But, now it exists and we are constantly making improvements. The possibilities are virtually endless. Soon we may even be able to achieve real virtual reality, and send our minds thousands of miles away and travel the world in one hour. At the rate we are progressing in thirty more years maybe we can create something even more amazing. It could even be one of us who does it. We just have to learn to use all the programs we can and think of new and inventive possibilities. The technologically advanced world of movies could become a reality very soon.

The internet has definitely affected my life in many ways. It made my life way easier. I can check my e-mails, I’M instantly. I can do lot’s of things on the computer such as chat with people near and far from where I live. I can search and find anything on the internet. I can stay on the computer all day long and play games, do research for school projects and discover things I did not know before. People can do anything on the computer. They can look for maps, shop, and live on it. Internet has developed so much that it makes the world easier. People can share ideas on the computer about everything and anything. People can express themselves on the computer. Other uses it for projects and everything. If I did not have internet, I think I will go crazy because I use the internet as a daily routine. I check my profiles and have time to enjoy myself. I cannot imagine myself without internet because it’s part of my life now. If internet did not exist, people will have to go to libraries to do research. Peoples will have to think and get headaches and all that.

I think the internet is one of the best and worse inventions ever. It is the best because you can use it to communicate with family, friends, and digital pen-pals (if you have one) all over the world. It opens doors for everyone and helps you to get things done faster. If you have shopping to do you can do it right on the internet and it eliminates having to run around buying things you can just do it from home for the most part. I use it to talk to friends and family who are close and the family I have in North Carolina. I use it even more when my aunt, uncle, and grandma travel all over the world just to find out how their trips are going and to make sure they get around safely. The reason I said it is also the worse is because it opens you up to people you don’t know. Every time you do something on the internet it’s something you can’t get back. If you enter personal information like pin codes, social security numbers, phone numbers, and addresses, there’s always a possibility someone else can view your information, you’re never completely safe. Instant messaging really has affected our lives because you can be millions of miles away from someone but talking to them. When my grandmother went to visit my aunt and uncle in Switzerland we were talking and she was telling me how amazing it was to be talking to me and I was here in Harrisburg and she was in Switzerland. Instant messaging can also be dangerous because once it again it opens you up to strangers, so I wouldn’t talk to everybody who seems nice.

The internet has infected my life a lot. I don’t think that these days anyone would be able to live without it. People use the internet, or the works of the internet everyday, without even realizing it. Without the internet, there will be no such thing as the WII. Xbox live wouldn’t exist. Playing on line wouldn’t exist. Blackberries and sidekicks, rockstars and zunes wouldn’t be around if it wasn’t for the internet. Personally, I don’t think I will be able to live without the internet, not because I’m an internet freak or anything, but the internet controls so many things, that without it the world will be so boring and unorganized. The internet is also used for bulling people. People get on chat sites and just torment others. Some even take it to the point of putting pictures of others on the internet, which are inappropriate and embarrassing, just to hurt them. People also use the internet for business purposes. The internet is used for countless things, and is very useful in the world today. It makes things a whole lot easier, and less complicated. Like I said before, if we didn’t have the internet today, everything will be discombobulated.

The internet has affected out lives in many ways. If it wasn’t for the internet we would not get to chat online with our friends when we are on punishment and have our phone privileges token away. Or we also wouldn’t get to be able to get the newest clothes and shoes that come out because they first are sold on line before the come to Harrisburg. The internet also allows us to get the fun games website to keep us b entertain when we have nothing else to day. But the internet is also a place where you have to be safe. Watching your every move. Making sure that you do not get into any trouble on the internet or get hurt over the internet. There are some dangerous people that could be on the internet. Also there is always something new you learn while on the internet. Many things that could help you in life, or for your future career. Web 2.0 (World Wide Web) is a great thing about the internet being able to communicate with others across the world and to see things that are happening in all parts of the world. Having a pen pale is very fun and teaches you many different things, many things that others know about the internet. The internet is like another television we have.

Everyday, the internet is used for many different things. You can go online to shop for clothes, talk to your friends across the world and so much more. In the business world, it is possible to communicate with different countries and other businesses across the world. Basically, the world right now would be lost if there was no internet. For many people, the internet has made their life so much better. For the unfortunate others, the internet has made their lives miserable, in regards to social things and websites like MySpace, Facebook, and Xanga. The internet is a way to advertise yourself, your business, or your products. Personally, internet has made my life a lot easier. I can’t imagine my life without it… I usually depend on it to talk to my family because I have family all over the world, the United States, Australia, Saudi Arabia, Malaysia, and Philippines. The internet is a must in the world today. The only reason the world would fail without it is because there are many people that obsess and are dependant on the internet. If the internet never existed… then I think the world would do fine without it because the world and people learn to adapt to new things. We’d probably be behind in a lot of technology but the world would live.

The internet has changed my life in many ways for example, I wouldn’t be able to check my e-mail, download music, keep in touch with my friends, shop online, research, play games, and go have fun. Without the internet we would not do research in an easy and fast way and it would take forever to get stuff done. The internet helps us a lot in our every day life and it makes our lives easier and simpler. Technology is making us humans more dependent and dumb at the same time because it saves us time and we pretty much don’t do anything else but take advantage of it. I really like the internet and it has changed the lives every single person in the world even though we don’t appreciate the fact that thanks to the person who invented the internet life is easier for us. With the internet we can search for pictures, important information, e-mail, chat, and most important become smarter by exploring new things. At times we get frustrated because we say that the internet is slow and that it just doesn’t work out for us, but we don’t see that someone actually took time to invent the internet and to make it as great as it is and that is as fast as it is.

The internet has affected our lives in many ways. Internet is so popular now it is unnecessary. The internet has affected all age groups but especially they younger generation. We tend to have our lives revolve around the internet and technology. Cell phones and I-Pods are really what kids are into and always have around them. There are a few things that are very popular for the younger kids to use, especially teenagers, text messages, MySpace, face book, yahoo, chat rooms, etc. Text messages are used to communicate with everyone no matter of their location. Personally I use text messages a lot and I can run through at least 100 text messages in thirty-minutes, which is a lot. MySpace has also taken over plenty of lives. MySpace is used everyday and a few times in a day by students. This can affect the students learning or academic performance a lot. Some times students will go on the computer before doing their homework and as time passes by they don’t realize the time is flying and they are on for hours so they end up not doing their homework, which is not good. So to answer the question how has internet affected our lives, it has affected it tremendously.

The internet has affected our lives heavily. In the business world, computers are a business office necessity-many people’s jobs are using the computer and the internet. In school, kids take tests on the internet; they can even take classes on the internet. For entertainment, people play games on the internet, they listen to music on the internet, they blog, you can do anything on the internet. Everywhere we go the internet is being used. In a lot of jobs in the world the internet is involved. We use email to stay connected with each other. We no longer have to send letters and wait, we can send information quickly. Parents that don’t have to go out and shop can shop on the internet, which is very convenient. Some busy mom won’t survive with out the internet. Teens that don’t have a social life use online gaming for entertainment. Without them online games some computer geek’s lives might have any meaning. It has been so many advancements in computing its basically made America. Scientist needs the internet. They use it to contact other genius. They exchange ideas and other smart stuff by web cam. They need the internet to collaborate with others.

The internet has effected our lives in many different ways. It has changed my life because without it I would be lost. I use the internet for practically anything I do in my everyday life. With all the things that the internet has created and updated I use in my everyday life. E-mail has changed many peoples lives. With E-mail people can communicate and share pictures with family members that could be thousands of miles away. Many people use E-mail to talk to their friends while on the computer. But E-mail also has its down side. People also use e-mail as a way to bully others over the computer. By doing this it can cause man things to happen. Online shopping is something that is most commonly done on the internet. I have purchased several things while shopping online. Its is sometimes easier to buy the things you want over the internet cause then you don’t have to leave your home nor do you have to worry about dealing with workers. Shopping on the internet can have bad down sides as well. They might not have the item you want in your size or they might not have it in stock. This can be very frustrating.

I think that life would be a complete 360 from what it is now without the internet. The internet is a part of everyone’s lives, even if they don’t use it directly. The internet has given birth to a lot of computer programs, programs that make our lives easier everyday. I also think that the invention of the internet inevitable. It would have been invented eventually. If not then, then it would have been invented by now. The internet is basically what people use computers for. Whenever I get on my computer, it has to do because of the internet. I may use word, but it’s because I’m typing up something to put ON the internet. When I’m on the computer and I can’t use the internet, I find myself left with nothing to do. Cause just about everything that there is to do on the computer is on the internet! And getting on the internet is part of my schedule too! Business exist because of the internet, internet cafes. People shape their schedules around computer time. The internet is so precious to us that it being taken away is frustrating. And taking the internet from teens is a punishment. That’s how important it is to us. I think one day though, everything will be controlled or run from the internet. Like planes will download their flight plans, and pilots won’t have to fly because the flight computer will do it for them. And what’s really dangerous about this is the possibility of the internet crashing. And that could be bad for everyone, even now. So THAT’S how much the internet has effected our lives.

Genisis 1:8 "And God outstrecthed his hand and said 'Let their be internet!' and so there was internet, and it was good" :D

I use the internet every single day. I play on it for at least 4 hours a day. It is one of the main things my life is surrounded by. It is also my main source of information. I do everything on the internet. I do online shopping, email, and online gaming. If that man would not have created the internet, life would be so dull. I mean, I use the internet just to talk to my family member and my friends who live across the country. The internet is very important to me in many ways. I also think the internet was inevitable. Someone would’ve invented it eventually, even if later. Without the internet, the world would still be stuck in the 19th Century.
I actually have an internet pen pal. Her name is Cassandra (Cassie) McClellan. She is 17 and lives in California. I try to talk to her everyday after school. We are really good friends. She will be graduating this year. We made a connection over the internet. She is really cool and I like talking to her. My connection to her was all thanks to the internet.
The internet has really changed the world, it has advanced us greatly from the stone ages. xP

She doesn’t like it when I have a computer in the house. She thinks it should go back to the olden days where everything had 2 be done by hand. Well not everything. A lot of people take advantage of this opportunity. The internet can be used or the bad and the good. I just hope it doesn’t over take our lives.

Internet
Internet is one of the top 5 electronics in the world. Without the internet it would be like living without a phone. The internet is a big way to communicate to people all over the world. The internet has affected everyone lives (who has internet), the people who create video games use internet, the people who use animation, almost everybody uses the internet, so without it, it will be like living without TV. Especially teenagers use internet to download, pen-pal, chat-rooms, music, games, videos, etc.
How do you feel about conversing with someone from the other side of the world? I came into contact with the chat-rooms before, so I know about it. But I make sure I talk to certain people. If you’re over a certain age, then I’m not going to talk to you, or accept you request. I’ve been warned about the chat-rooms, or putting certain picture on the internet, because I do not any body coming in contact with me, and killing me.
All I’m saying is if the internet was down in the world, then everybody will be out of work, because everything you do is connected to the internet, if you think about it.

Internet affected our lives in a good way and in a bad way. The good way is that we don’t really have to depend on things getting done. For example we don’t have to worry about driving all the way out to our insurance company to pay for the bill or go out to the electric company to pay the bill. It made our lives simpler. It gave us another way to talk to people that are far away and we don’t have to pay extra for distance emails like we have to do over the phone. It gave us other games to play instead of watching it rain. Computers have influenced so much that we won’t go out to the store and get something but we’d order it. I am sorry to say but the internet has made us stupid. Since we have internet, computers, iphones it seems like everyday we are being more dependent on them instead of our selves. The bad thing’s about having the internet in the first place is that we depend on it way too much. We depend on it to send a message to a friend or family member who is right across the street. The internet has made us lazy and forgetful. Once on the internet we lose all focus of any other things that we had to do. People have found themselves hooked on the computer, on the internet. They have found themselves not sleeping and not eating with fear that they were going to miss something that could happen in a minute. In my grandma’s days they didn’t spend all their time on the computer on the internet because they didn’t have it. They played outside. They played board games with their family when it rain. But no we want to stay inside more and play or talk on the computer. And forget rainy day’s and having playing time with our family because our minds are focused on the internet. I would feel happy to be in a conversation with someone from the other side of the world. I have a pen pal and it’s nice to talk to her all the time. But instead of emailing each other back in forth we send mails back in forth. We enjoy waiting for each others mail just to see what the other person has to say about what’s going on where they’re.

The internet is the most influential thing on this planet to most people. America would die if there was no internet and America and most other countries wouldn’t know how to communicate with each other. Instant messaging is very important to a lot of people. The internet is for learning and for communicating. You can do almost anything then the internet. On the internet you can see anything write anything and really talk to anyone. The problem is the law is scarce on the internet. People can sometimes get away with things they wouldn’t normally get away with in real life. The internet is also very helpful. You can apply for jobs and even go to collage over the internet. You can express your opinion and you have freedom of speech. You can learn what is going on around the world or just around your neighborhood. It can help you when you have problems too. The internet is one big community of good and bad people but together it has turned into something that people can no longer live without. It is even a class in elementary school now. I mean for god sake this is worth 30 points just to type something up into a blog. I could just type nothing but random words and get the points because the whole point is to learn about the internet. I just hope we don’t become so attached and dependent on the internet that if we ever lost it we wouldn’t know what to do and the would could go into panic just because we lost one thing.

The internet has affected my life because it made things more available and easier to get. For instance, let’s say I wanted the new Fallout Boys CD, and then by me having access to the internet, I downloaded the whole CD, for free. Plus the internet has now gone mobile. So for anyone who has an internet enabled phone, it is easier for people to get information. The internet had made it so that there service is anywhere, and everywhere, and always available. So when the price of the internet services rise, people will pay a high price for it because it has become the main focus of life. It also has become the main focus of violence, and theft. MySpace, Facebook, Mocospace, etc. are all internet websites that have had some type of violent related crimes on them. Also identity theft has occurred because of hackers hacking into emails, or chat pages, taking the dangers from the real world to the virtual world. Shopping has become popular because all you need is a credit card, and the internet. It’s as simple as getting onto a website where you want to order from, putting in your card info in and then in a few days you’ll have your items, making the need to leave the house and move around less needed. Online gaming has become addictive and has made people want to stay in the house and play online instead of getting outside and playing there getting active.

The internet advanced the way of communication. Instead of just talking on the phone we can now use different things to communicate on the internet. We can now do a lot. With the internet we can shop, find information, and communicate with others, ect. The internet has changed the way of living. You can go online and shop for items you need without leaving the comfort of your home. You can now also go to school on the computer. The internet also provides miscellaneous activities. Even though the internet has made life easier it has also put some of us at risk. With the advancement of Google Earth someone could type in your address and find out the exact place were you live. Web 2.0 has made it easier to communicate with others. Web 2.0 has made it easier to meet other people without putting yourself all the way out there. I don’t feel as though having a digital pen pal is wrong. It doesn’t matter if that person is all the way on the other side of the world. Its cool to know that you can however talk to that person instantly which shows how advanced our technology is today.

I think at one point in my life the internet completely took over. I forgot to eat and sleep I was in a whole another world. It was calling out my name. I could not concentrate in school. I tried so hard to but I could not. It was like it took over my brain. The funny thing is that it was only one website that took over my life. It was YouTube. I loved to watch anime on there they had so many that it took over everything. Internet is just a addicting thing it sometimes can not be helped. It’s like they put a trance over you to make you want to not want to get off at all. I think it is cool to talk to some one from another country because you get to learn so much. It’s very exciting to go to another country instantly that is so cool to me. They also get to know about me and stuff. Man if I could do that as a everyday class I would be so happy I have a lot of friends and I could create the perfect person and no one ever know who you are. You would have the power and no one else would but you

The internet is the most influential thing since the TV invention. There are many reasons for this like the internet easy way of traveling and doing things in a easy way for you. Also, the internet brings very good things like more info and useful thing to everyone. On the other hand it can bring bad thing and things that parents don’t want for their children. For example like violence and shooting in games online. But it has good thing like email, online shopping, Imps, online gaming, Advancements in computing, Collaboration of ideas instantly and other useful things. Thanks to the web 2.0 we all have a way to connect with people in other countries and states. This is useful because if we need to say something important to a relative far away we simply e-mail them. Also, I feel that conversing with someone from other sides of the world is great and cool. Without the internet the world in a way would be kind of slow and way behind technology today in the world. The internet was a step forward to the future. And it’s just something that we all can really say that it’s useful and great. I wouldn’t want a world without the internet because I can’t image it.

The internet has affected our lives a lot. Without the internet finding information would be way harder. In school, we or the teachers always depend on it because it is very important that we get the information and facts we need from it. Emails are another one. Emails are fun like on MySpace. They are also an easy way to conversate and have fun. The software we use is also a good way to learn. We need certain software to help us in Technology class. Online shopping is nice. You get discounts over the internet if you purchase things online. I hardly ever do it because I like to try on my things before I get it first but others like it. Online gaming should be fun for kids or even older people. I haven’t did online gaming since I was like 11 or 12 years old though. Kids enjoy it and it helps them learn too. Web 2.0 is a good thing sometimes but not always. A lot of abductions, kidnappings, and things like that happen. But it is good because you get to make new friends and share who you are over the internet. I think it would be fun conversating with someone across the world. You get to learn new things about how they live and stuff like that.

The internet has made a huge in pack on our lives. The internet has made our lives much easier. The internet has helped in transportation and communication much easier. The internet has made communication easier by email, im’s and chat rooms. Instead of sitting down writing a letter and sending It by mail and it taking three to five days to deliver you can down email which takes less time then mailing. When you email it is so much easier. Also instead of getting in your car and going shopping, the internet has provided online shopping. This saves lots of time and gas. A lot of people today use online shopping for many reason like to save gas or money, or if they can’t drive. Google has created Google sketch and Google earth which has helped many people to find places and to build certain things in a easier and faster way. Web 2.0 has also affected many people’s lives. Web 2.0 is a mixture of everything and is very helpful in a normal person’s busy life. It makes things easier and is very organized for people. Web 2.0 is motified website. You can add what you want to it and download things to it. When communicating to other people across the world is fun and exciting and it is fast and easy when using chat.

The web 2.o affects our lives a lot in this world. It affects us because we go on the websites and change a lot of things. That is all people do now and days on the internet. It affects my life a lot because I am always on youtube where you can change things the way you want it. Also a website named myspace is also a place where you can change information on the internet. You create an account and meet people all around the world. When u have a email and go and message people that you don’t know, that is called web 2.0. I do not like talking to people that I do not know because it can be an adult acting a kid and they can find out my information. I would feel very weird if I was coversating with someone all the way across the country or world. I think that web 2.0 affects every person that knows how to use a computer. The only time that I conversate with somebody that I do not know is if they are somebody that I seen around, but I just do not know them. That is why I feel that web 2.0 affect me.

It has made our lives so much easier because it gave us so many things. There are good and bad ways people use internet. But I’m for sure I use it for good things such as School work and Keeping in touch with my friends. I mostly use Google and MySpace. I use it daily in my everyday life. I e-mail a lot too but to see what new with my family and friends that is far from me. But the bad thing about the internet is to use it by going on chat room and talks to people you don’t know and go on bad websites that is restricted. Since internet is apart of everyday life and a lot of people use it to communicate so having that on the web pages today is important for having more ways to communicate and in a lot of ways easier to communicate. The internet is basically the world at your fingertips at anytime. You can access it on your phone, pc, desktop, basically anywhere and anything. The internet is a major need in my life.

People think guns are cool for various reasons. It could be that they are fascinated by them; they could think that they are special; some might think that guns aren’t that dangerous and other stuff as well. It seems that gun violence is ruining the world and the people in it. Individuals that use gun violence to solve there problems isn’t the way to handle things. There is always a better solution rather then shooting and possibly killing someone. We are not safe even when the “government” wants us to think that. Anything can happen to me, you, or anyone else. To be honest anyone is able to get in hold of a gun. There has to thousands of under aged kids that is able to have or hold a gun. This keeps the generation going because if a minor gets hold of a gun then anyone can. It takes only one to get it and one to spread it. However not all adults are responsible. At times you are always hearing that someone had a drive by, or some man/women killed there significant other. That just proves that no one is safe. I don’t think the second amendment should be changed because it actually states that no one under a certain age should be carrying a gun. But then again that amendment cannot stop anyone form doing so. People don’t follow the rules because they know they won’t get caught or that they jus don’t care.

The main thing is being able to communicate from anybody in the world. You can send pictures to anybody in the world. Without the internet I really think this country would be lost. Technology has taken over and dominated the world everybody uses it- if the internet gets taken away people would go crazy! And some people rely on the internet for everything. Whether it’s educational or fun the internet is one of the best things that ever happen in the world. But most people don’t realize that the internet is harmful. The internet is a huge part of the world right now. Almost everything uses technology. The things that were once used in history have been replaced with high technology. I wonder what was on Sir Tim Berners-Lee’s mind when he developed the internet. I thank god for him because I use the internet everyday in my life. The internet has everything you could possibly imagine online. I use it every night to get on the weather channel to see what the weather will be for the day. I email at school all the time to keep in touch with friends that I do not have class with this semester. I would shop online but I do not have a credit card. When I am bored, I play online games. I like the fact that I can talk to anyone I want instantly. They could be anywhere in the world. In elementary school, we had pen pals. We wrote them letters. It took a while to get letters back from them. It honestly was pretty boring. If I was in elementary school now, we would probably be using digital pen pals. That would be really fun because you would not need to wait as long as you would with writing letters. The only thing that scares me about the internet is that anyone can see you. That means that someone can stalk you. That is so scary.

The internet is one of my favorite past times but I’ve been often told not to rely on it too much. I love the internet because it has so much to offer us in terms of communication and simplicity. Every year or even every month new software comes out better then the last. I usually like the newer versions although the older ones I grow accustomed to. There is a saying that kids of this time of day are born with computers in their hands and I’ve found it to be so true the younger the child the faster they become addicted to technology and everything that follows it. I am not saying that I hate technology or that I don’t think children should be exposed to it but I am saying that they should not rely on it. I myself can’t remember the last time I chose the library over the internet for research or random information. The first thing I think about is “oh I can look it up on the web” not “oh a book would be more reliable”. The truth is that even though the internet is a lot faster it is also a lot more random and well unsure then a book. Anyone can have the power to change the webpage of another but few people can interfere with a books editing. Yes you should never believe anything you read book or electronic but how many people would risk putting bad lies on a book that will be published under there real name and can be traced back to them? The internet is a great thing but I think we are all a little guilty of over using it and relying on it a bit too much.

The internet has affected our lives in more ways than I can explain. The internet holds many things. There is email, online shopping, IM’s, online gaming, advancements in computing collaboration of ideas instantly Advancement in software - Google Earth, Google Sketch-up. The games help us when we need more fun while we are on the internet. E-mail is a great tool. This allows you to be able to receive messages and be able to send them to anybody you want with a certain e-mail address. Online shopping is somewhat useful. It allows you to but thing s that you normally can’t but in the stores. This is what you call shopping from home. But the downside to it is that the senders can damage it while it is being shipped. Instant messaging is probably the most elusive way of contacting people. It is quick and easy. And may I say very, very useful. The advancements in computing collaborations are possibly the greatest enhancements made on the internet. Let’s be serious. Google Earth is the possibly the closest I have ever been to the real thing when it comes to satellite views. The internet has improved over the years and do believe it will get better.

The internet has opened up numerous doors for the world and how we live it. The dot com generation as we are so affectionately called really is the best name to describe us. I belive that the internet has made our lives easier and more entertaining by opening up worlds that may otherwise never been known to us. How can chatting with somebody in Nigeria not be considered prolific , how can one say that information at the touch of a button could be anything but an extraordinary advancement of the human race. Ibeleive that myspace and im are two of the tools used today to network and should not be considered a replacement of conversation as it often is but nonetheless the internet has made our lives better day by day

Besides the abusers of this great gift bestowed upon us the internet helps many people in many ways. when you think of the people it brings together it is phenomenal. I can have a chat wih a nigerian or a asian in china it brings worlds together. Not only does this grounbreaking technology help us individually but it brings us together as one world

I believe that the Internet has affected are culture in many ways, from myspace and im to just the concept of information at your fingertips. Though there are some that misuse this great asset there will always be some who abuse the privileges given them. The Internet has changed are life and has effectively molded my generation into techno-savvy youth. The only drawback to the Internet is the people’s dependence upon it, as in the case of many other magnificent tools the Internet as built up a mass of Internet dependent people who need it to survive. Besides the abusers of this great gift bestowed upon us the Internet helps many people in many ways. When you think of the people it brings together it is phenomenal. I can have a chat with a Nigerian or an Asian in china it brings worlds together. Not only does this groundbreaking technology help us individually but also it brings us together as one world. People together are stronger than a people apart. The world can be tied together. Internet has opened worlds to people who otherwise might not have one it gives a voice to the speechless and it honestly depicts the intents and character of the human race.

The internet has affected American’s lives in many ways. I think for the bad and the good. The bad because many people’s life’s revolve around the internet. The good, because we use it for great things such as communication, online billing/banking, and sharing educational tools. I think I have mixed feelings when it comes to digital pen pals. On one hand I think it could be a fun and exciting way to meet new people, but then again it can also be another way to meet predator online. I think that online pen pals can open up doors to meet people with the same interest in things as you, and it’s a way for people who aren’t exactly social in person to meet those online. I think everyone would have different opinions on the subject matter. But as well, online, is still the internet. You can be whatever you want to be when it comes to the internet now-a-days. If you want to seem like you lead an exciting life, you can. I would feel a little uneasy, and watch what I say. I would not tell him certain things like, what city I’m from, my telephone number, my address, or anybody I hang with. I would also not send them pictures of me and my friends, because not everyone has the same views on digital pen pals, as you might have. You should be able to have fun, but still keep personal information and feelings, personal. I would keep it strictly for fun. No personal attachments, and don’t believe every single word the opposite person from around the world says, because you never know if they are lying.

The Internet has a big impact on our lives. The internet has opened access to communicating with people across the world and not just from the phone. For quick conversations they have created instant messaging it lets you talk with someone without dealing the wait of someone to check their e-mail. Instant messaging allows you to talk faster e-mail and text messaging. Online gaming allows you to meet new people across the world when you play online. It is also a reality check because you might think that you are the best at the game and then Advancements in computing are keeping us up to date with technology. You would not want to have something better and not use. The Internet has become a help to some and a weapon to others. There are people out using the Internet to become a predator to kids. Others use the Internet to hack into places that they shouldn’t be. There are still people though that use it the right way. They use it to get paid as in Internet marketing. There are other ways they use it positively but I just can’t think of many. People also use the Internet for education. There classes that you can take over the Internet.

I feel ok about conversation with pen pals because sometimes other people need friends like everyone else. Especially if your talking to someone who has less then what you have and they want to know what’s its like somewhere else. That’s the good thing about pen pals is that you’re making people feel better and your helping them. I think that you should only have a pen pal if you want to. In schools these days schools make children have pen pals. I think its interesting to have a pen pal across the world because they teach you and you teach them about the differences of there country or continent vise versa. When you meet different people from different places you learn different things. Pen pals is a good way to express your self anonymously because you can tell a secret without anyone else knowing cause they don’t know your world. It can also be a relief from the real world and talk about stuff that you cant talk about with your regular friends. For example if you like video games more then the world, but your friends from school don’t play them like you do. You can go to your pen pal and tell them how much you like them and maybe the pen pal will to.

How has the internet affected our lives?
How has web 2.0 affected our lives and the world?
The internet has affected my life in many different ways. The internet helps making life a much easier. It also helps you save a lot of gas and money then the stores help you. It is covenant at times and then at times it is not covenant. If I did not have the internet I would not be able to do a bunch of the things that I do today. Things such as shop online, check email, and talk to friends online. The internet helps me stay up on many of the latest things such as clothing and sneakers. I love ordering my things before many people start to buy and wear them. Web 2.0 is like MySpace, Wikipedia, face book, and many more. These web sites allow you to change contents’ on the site. I think that these were some website that need to change some of there features. Some of the things like shopping are so fun online. Shopping online saves a lot of time and it so easy. I would say people should try it but I don’t want people having what I have not trying to sound mean or anything I just like having things to myself!

I think it is good because you can learn a lot from it about other cultures. It is better instantly because when you send letters they can be lost or damaged. Also because the subject doesn’t get old by the time they get it. It could also be safer in some ways because if you don’t want they to have your address you don’t have to. When you send letters they get it automatically. If you had bad handwriting it will be hard for them to read what ever you wrote to them. You will be able to talk to other people that you may not have thought that you talked to before. There will be things that you did not think that they do where ever they are from before because you did not know about them things. The things that they do you may even try to do. It is also bad because you really do not know the person that you are talking to. You may say things that you do not mean to say and they will know way too much about you and especially things about your personal life. There are man pros and cons to pen pals online.
